The WQK type sewage cutting pump is a specialized model that integrates a cutting/grinding mechanism (cutting disc + fixed cutting edge / cutting ring) at the suction inlet of the submersible sewage pump.
The working principle of the WQK type sewage cutting pump: Before the sewage, along with fibers, strips, plastic bags, hair and other debris, enters the impeller, it is first cut into fine fragments by the high-speed rotating cutter disc, and then is pressurized and discharged by the impeller. This not only retains the convenience of the submersible pump "directly sinking into the sump without the need for a pump room", but also weakens the "stuck pump, tangled shaft, and burned machine" high-risk factors at the source. It is a targeted solution for high-tangle risk scenarios in residential, hotel, basement, and small-scale sewage treatment stations, etc.

Pre-cutting, prevention of blockage and entanglement: The key lies in the material of the cutter disc and the design of the cutting edge - usually high-hardness alloy tool steel/maintainable stainless steel is used. The cutting edge undergoes heat treatment to maintain sharpness and durability, which can break down rags, ropes, toilet paper balls, hair, etc. into sizes that can pass through small-diameter pipes, significantly reducing the probability of clogging and frequent disassembly.
The impeller must still maintain flowability: Most WQK models are equipped with single/double flow channels, vortex or non-blocking impellers after the cutting mechanism, allowing the already chopped slurry to flow out smoothly instead of "being cut but not able to be discharged".
Full submersible structure, small footprint, quick installation: The motor and pump are sealed coaxially, and can work directly by hoisting into the sump/pond. It is suitable for renovation projects and sites with limited space; with a guide rail automatic coupling device, it can be raised along the guide rail for maintenance without entering the well, making it safer.
Multiple sealing protections, facing the sewage environment: Commonly used are double mechanical seals (paired with silicon carbide/tungsten carbide) + oil chamber + lip-shaped oil seal/auxiliary seal, and the oil chamber can be equipped with a leakage probe; the motor cavity and bearing end are reliably sealed to enhance the reliability of long-term submersion.
Motor and protection: Leave margin for continuous operation: Submersible motors are usually configured for heavy-load starting and wet-hot environments (F-class insulation, temperature rise/leakage/damp heating belts can be added as needed) to avoid pushing risks to end users due to prolonged stalled operation or frequent startups.

Since some sewage does not contain corrosive liquids but does contain fine sand particles, these sand particles can cause certain wear to the impeller and pump head parts of the water pump. We recommend that customers customize stainless steel impellers and pump heads, which greatly improves the wear resistance of the water pump and enables it to pump liquids containing fine particles.

Can the purchaser specify the brand of internal components or other requirements and have them customized?
We have been manufacturing WQ sewage pumps for 20 years and our process technology is very well-developed. To meet the needs of more customers, we can customize Japanese imported NSK bearings, Swedish SKF bearings, etc., as well as stainless steel shafts and stainless steel casings, which reduce the friction loss generated by the motor and accelerate the cooling speed of the motor. For customers with high requirements, you can consider it.
Can the project require the water pump to have a detection protection device? -- The water pump can be equipped with full protection function
In many large-scale engineering projects, large-power sewage pumps are used. For general sewage pumps with power of several tens of kilowatts, we usually recommend that customers install a full protection signal line and control cabinet. In case of abnormal situations such as water leakage, oil leakage, or high temperature of the water pump, it can be resolved and handled in time to avoid accidents.
