The low-speed wide-channel design extends the service life of the wear parts. The maximum flow rate is 5400m³/h, and the maximum head is 150m. The flow passage component A05 is made of high-chromium alloy (HRC60+), and it can be connected in multiple stages. It is suitable for long-distance transportation of large-scale mine slurries and tailings, fire power plant ash removal, mill discharge, dredging and reclamation, etc. in high-erosion, coarse-particle, high-concentration working conditions.

Description

The large-diameter impeller slurry pump is the advanced form of heavy-duty horizontal centrifugal slurry pumps. Its core features are a large-diameter impeller (Ø510 - 1370 mm) + low rotational speed operation (200 - 1140 r/min) + wide internal passage - by increasing the impeller diameter to reduce the peripheral velocity around the impeller, thereby reducing wear and extending the lifespan of the flow components, and at the same time, the wide flow channel volute allows large particles to pass through smoothly.
This product adopts a double pump shell structure (outer layer of ductile iron/cast steel for pressure-bearing + inner layer of high-chromium alloy replaceable wear-resistant lining), and the flow components such as the impeller, volute, and front and rear guard plates are uniformly made of A05 high-chromium alloy (27% Cr, HRC 60+) vacuum cast with zero gas pores, or upgraded to A49 (28% high-chromium low-carbon, corrosion-resistant), Cr30, or bimetallic composite. The discharge outlet of the entire machine is 360° adjustable, and the shaft seal can be selected from three options (packing/auxiliary impeller/mechanical seal), allowing multi-stage series connection to meet high head and long-distance transportation requirements.

Large-diameter impeller, low-speed wear-resistant - Impeller diameter: Ø510 - 1370 mm. Operating at low speed of 200 - 1140 r/min, the peripheral speed of the impeller is significantly reduced, and the wear life is extended by 30 - 50%, and the MTBM (Mean Time Between Maintenance) is significantly improved.
Wide internal channel, large particles through - Wide flow channel volute + large-diameter impeller. The maximum particle size is up to 135 mm (16×14TU-ZH type). Coarse particles, gravel, shells can pass directly without blocking or jamming.
A05 high-chromium vacuum casting, HRC 60+ - The flow components are vacuum-cast with 27% high-chromium alloy without gas pores, with a hardness of HRC 60+, excellent resistance to particle erosion, and are 3 - 5 times the lifespan of ordinary cast iron.
Double pump housing structure, shell liner separation - Outer layer QT500-7/ZG230-450 pressure-bearing, inner layer high-chromium lining for wear resistance; when the inner liner is worn through, only the wear-resistant components need to be replaced, and the outer layer shell and the pump have the same lifespan (10+ years), reducing maintenance costs by 60%.

Q: Is it better to have a larger impeller diameter?
A: Not necessarily. An increase in impeller diameter → the rotational speed must be reduced (otherwise the peripheral speed will explode) → the flow rate decreases linearly with the rotational speed. The correct selection logic is: use the lowest reasonable rotational speed to meet the flow rate and head requirements, and select the impeller diameter to be "just right to allow the rotational speed to fall within the comfortable range of 200-1140 r/min". Blindly choosing a larger impeller will result in investment waste and installation difficulties.
