Products features
The YZ type pump is a single-stage, single-suction cantilever structure. It is connected to the hydraulic components of the pump through bearing seats, support seats, and connecting pipes. The liquid is discharged through the discharge pipe components. The impeller of the pump is a semi-open type. At the inlet extension of the impeller blades, there are stirring blades. The main feature of the submersible slurry pump is that the pump shaft in the submersible part has sufficient rigidity. There are no bearings between the impeller, pump casing, and no shaft seal is used. It can convey media containing large concentrations of solid particles. The insertion length of the pump into the liquid is between 800 and 2000. If necessary, an intake pipe can be equipped. The shaft seal is operated by submersing the pump in the liquid. No shaft seal is used. The transmission is installed on the vertical motor, which is mounted on the motor support and support seat, and connected to the pump through a coupling.
Application scenario
Submersible slurry pumps are mainly used in mining beneficiation (bottom flow of thickening machines, tailings ponds for re-suction), power plants for coal combustion (removing slag from ash ponds, circulating desulfurization slurry), metallurgy and steel production (high-temperature blast furnace slag ponds, iron oxide scale trenches), building materials and cement (lime kiln water quenching ponds, sand washing wastewater sedimentation), as well as environmental dredging (river channel dredging, sludge discharge from sewage treatment plants, shield tunneling mud pits). They are suitable for high-solid content, highly abrasive, and easily sedimentary working conditions. Compared with horizontal pumps, they eliminate the need for water introduction due to submerged self-suction, have a cantilever structure without shaft seal leakage risks, and have a small footprint for top flange fixation. They are particularly suitable for transporting slurry media with a solid content rate of 15% to 60% and a liquid depth of 6 meters or less on a continuous or intermittent basis.

Fault Causes and Solutions of Submersible Slurry Pumps
I. The pump does not discharge water and the pressure gauge pointer jolts violently.
Fault cause:
1. The inlet is clogged.
2. There is air leakage in the pipeline and the instrument.
Solution:
1. Remove the clogged material.
2. Tighten or block the leakage points.
II. The pump does not discharge water.
Fault cause:
1. The pump inlet is higher than the liquid level.
2. The rotation direction is incorrect.
Solution:
1. Raise the liquid level or lower the installation height of the pump.
2. Check the motor rotation direction and select the appropriate slurry pump.
III. The pressure gauge indicates pressure at the pump discharge point, but the pump still does not discharge water.
Fault cause:
1. The outlet pipe resistance is too large.
2. The impeller is clogged.
3. The rotational speed is insufficient.
Solution:
1. Check the pipeline.
2. Clean the impeller. 3. Increase the rotational speed of the pump
