The ISSH single-stage double-suction centrifugal pump is an upgraded and improved version based on the SH single-stage double-suction open centrifugal pump. The pump body remains a horizontal open type with a double-suction impeller, and the liquid enters the impeller from both sides simultaneously. The axial force is self-balanced. ISSH has adopted a more updated CFD-optimized hydraulic model and stricter ISO installation size tolerances, resulting in an average efficiency increase of 2% to 4%. It is the preferred model for municipal water supply renovations, power plant circulating water renewal, and industrial energy-saving technological improvement projects.

The new generation of hydraulic models has reached a new level of efficiency: The ISSH single-stage double-suction centrifugal pump, based on the classic SH model, has been re-optimized for the volute throat, the outlet angle of the impeller, and the curvature of the front and rear cover plates using CFD technology. The maximum efficiency is 90% to 93% (while the SH model typically ranges from 88% to 91%).
Double suction self-balancing + mid-section maintenance, retaining classic advantages: liquid enters the impeller from both sides, axial force is self-balanced, bearing life is long, running vibration ≤ 2.8 mm/s; horizontal mid-section structure, opening the pump cover allows the rotor to be rotated, the inlet and outlet pipelines and the motor remain stationary, the maintenance downtime is 60% shorter than that of end suction pumps;
There are multiple upgrade options for bearing configuration: for medium and small diameters, standard rolling bearing grease lubrication is provided; for large diameters (≥ 500 mm), sliding bearings + oil station forced lubrication can be selected, equipped with a water-cooled jacket, capable of 24-hour continuous full-load operation; it can also be equipped with temperature measurement Pt100 and vibration sensors, and connected to SCADA for unmanned operation.
Sealing is flexible, material can be customized: shaft seal packing seal (economy model) or mechanical seal (zero drip leakage model); flow components can be selected as HT250/QT500-7/ZG230-450, the impeller is 304/316/dual-phase steel 2205, suitable for seawater, mild corrosion, high-temperature hot water (the thermal cycle in power plants can reach 110 ℃).

The main application scenarios of the ISSH single-stage double-suction centrifugal pump overlap significantly with those of the SH type, but are more inclined towards "new projects + renovation replacements": municipal water treatment plant intake and discharge pump rooms (especially for those that need efficiency improvement and renovation, ISSH can be replaced with the same foundation), cooling water pump rooms in thermal power plants/nuclear power plants/garbage incineration power plants (ISSH-48 and above large-diameter models are used as circulation pumps), large-scale irrigation water pumping stations, inter-basin water transfer intermediate pumping stations, circulating water in petrochemical/steel plants, HVAC chilled water circulation in large commercial complexes/data centers (vertical double-suction models are also available, but the ISSH horizontal model is more convenient for maintenance), as well as energy-saving renovation replacements of old S/SH pump stations.
