Large Mobile Jaw Crusher

The large-scale mobile jaw crusher is a mobile coarse crushing equipment that installs a heavy-duty jaw crusher main unit on a tire-mounted semi-trailer chassis or a crawler-mounted self-propelled chassis. It belongs to the largest-capacity and coarsest-grained model in the family of mobile crushing stations. At locations such as mining excavation sites, large stone quarries, and tunnel waste discharge outlets, directly receive the blasting large blocks (with side lengths up to over one meter) unloaded by dump trucks or excavators. These blocks are immediately crushed to a particle size suitable for further medium and fine crushing or directly used as roadbed materials, and are moved along with the advancement of the work surface.

1.Positioning and Fixation: The equipment is transported to the designated operation site by a tractor (tire-type) or a self-propelled vehicle (track-type). The hydraulic outriggers extend, raising and leveling the entire machine, so that the tires or tracks are lifted off the ground to ensure the stability of the frame during the crushing operation.
2.Material Receiving and Feeding: Dump trucks or loaders transfer the blasting materials into a heavy-duty vibrating feeder (or rod bar feeder). The feeder evenly conveys the materials into the jaw crusher's feed opening, while the rod bar screen separates the soil and fine materials in advance and bypasses them, reducing the ineffective load and wear on the jaw crusher.
3.Coarse Crushing Operation: The materials enter the jaw crusher's crushing chamber. The moving jaw closes once for each cycle, crushing the materials step by step. The crushed materials are discharged from the discharge port and fall onto the lower discharge belt conveyor.
Discharge and Connection: The discharge belt conveyor transports the coarse crushed materials to the intermediate storage pile or directly connects to the next section of crushing and screening equipment (such as mobile cone crushers, mobile screening stations). Multiple mobile stations can be connected in series to form a complete mobile crushing and screening production line.

Mining-grade jaw crusher main unit: The frame adopts an integral casting or heavy-duty welded box structure, with thick side plates and dense reinforcing ribs, capable of withstanding continuous impact loads from blasting of large blocks. The moving jaw body is thickened and weighted, and the eccentric shaft is a large-diameter forged steel part, with counterweight-loaded rolling bearings.
Extra-large feed opening: The width of the feed opening is usually from 900 mm to over 1500 mm, and the maximum feed particle size can reach 800–1200 mm, directly accepting the discharge from dump trucks.
Heavy-duty bar vibration feeder: With large amplitude and strong bearing capacity, the front bar spacing can be adjusted, effectively separating soil and fine materials, and prolonging the service life of the jaw plate.
Hydraulic adjustment of discharge opening: The large mobile jaw crusher is equipped with a hydraulic wedge or hydraulic push rod adjustment system, which can quickly adjust the size of the discharge opening during shutdown or under load, without the need for manual application of shims.
Overload protection: The traditional spring lever system and hydraulic release device provide dual insurance. When encountering non-pulverizable objects (such as chisels, drill bits), the moving jaw can temporarily retreat to protect the main unit from severe damage.

Large limestone/granite/ashlar quarries: Arrange mobile jaw crushers near the mining face to directly coarse-crush the blasted raw ore, significantly shortening the distance for ore transportation and reducing the costs of truck fuel and road maintenance.
Open-pit metal mines (iron, copper, gold, etc.): As the coarse crushing stage, crush the ore to a particle size suitable for subsequent medium crushing (cone crushers), and move with the advancement of the mining steps.
Hydropower, highways, railways and other linear projects: The tunnel waste and roadbed excavation stones can be crushed on-site and utilized, reducing the costs of waste disposal and purchase of aggregates. The mobile jaw crushers can be relocated sectionally along with the progress of the project.
Large-scale construction waste treatment projects: Concrete blocks and brick and stone mixtures generated from demolition are first coarse-crushed by mobile jaw crushers and then enter the subsequent screening and iron removal processes to produce recycled aggregates.
