The hammer crusher operates by the motor driving the rotor to rotate at high speed, which in turn causes the hammer heads to impact, shear, and collide with the materials entering the crushing chamber, thereby breaking them. Materials smaller than the gap of the screen plate are discharged, while those larger than the gap continue to be struck and ground by the hammers until they reach the desired particle size.
Main types: classified by the number of rotors as single rotor and double rotor; by the rotor rotation direction as reversible and irreversible; by the arrangement of the hammer heads as single row and multi-row. Processing capacity: The feed particle size can usually reach ≤1600mm, and the discharge particle size can be adjusted. Generally, it is below 25mm. The single machine production capacity has a wide range, from several tons per hour to several thousand tons per hour.
