YZ Type Sand And Slurry Pump

The YZ type sand and slurry pump is a horizontal single-stage single-suction centrifugal slurry pump specially designed for high-solid-content medium conditions such as sand extraction in rivers, dredging and sediment removal, and transportation of mine tailings. Its core feature is the use of a single pump housing or a double pump housing structure. The YZ type sand and slurry pump has a compact structure and is easy to maintain. It is commonly used as a pump type for small and medium-sized sand-drawing vessels, shore-based dredging stations, and sand washing plants.

High-chromium alloy flow components, with long wear resistance life: The impeller, sleeve, and guard plate are all made of high-chromium cast iron. The metallographic structure is dense, capable of resisting high-speed erosion from quartz sand, river pebbles, and slag. The service life is 5 to 8 times that of ordinary cast iron, significantly reducing the frequency of replacement.
Allow high solid concentration, high sand extraction efficiency: The maximum weight concentration can reach 60%, allowing direct extraction of riverbed sediment slurry without prior dilution. This reduces subsequent dehydration steps and improves overall operational efficiency.
Secondary impeller pressure reduction seal, long maintenance-free period: The secondary impeller rotates with the pump shaft, forming reverse pressure at the packing case, enabling the packing or mechanical seal to work in a low-pressure zone. The lifespan is extended by 2 to 3 times, reducing the frequency of shutdown and maintenance.
Wide flow channel, strong flow capacity: The number of impeller blades is small (3 to 5), and the flow channel is wide. It can pass through the maximum solid particle diameter up to 60% to 70% of the outlet diameter, making it less prone to clogging.
Simple structure, convenient maintenance: Cantilever structure. By opening the pump cover, the rotor can be withdrawn. The inlet and outlet pipelines remain unchanged, making it suitable for on-site rapid maintenance.

The YZ type sand and slurry pump is widely used in sand extraction and dredging in rivers (as a matching component for suction dredgers or as a fixed pump station on the shore), lake and reservoir dredging, coastal land reclamation, tailings transportation in mines (such as iron ore, copper ore, and gold ore), coal slurry water transportation in coal washing plants, power plant ash and slag removal systems, and fine sand recovery in sand washing plants. Especially in situations with high sand content and hard particles, its wear-resistant performance is outstanding, making it an economical alternative to imported slurry pumps.
