Q: How to choose between vertical sand pumps and horizontal ZJ slurry pumps?
A: Narrow space, need submersible pumping of sludge, deep pits/pond bottoms/pit interiors → vertical sand pumps; seeking high flow rate, easy maintenance, fixed-position operation → horizontal ZJ pumps. In simple terms: when the medium needs to be pumped up from below the liquid surface → vertical; when the medium needs to be smoothly or vertically conveyed above the liquid surface → horizontal.
Q: Can the submersion depth be customized?
A: Standard ZJL series: 0.9 - 4.5 m. GL series can be customized according to the depth of the pool. The standard length of the fixed-position vertical slurry pumps is 0.5 - 10 m. For depths over 10 m, special design is required (add guide bearings, long shaft segmented).
Q: What is the use of the impeller with a stirring blade?
A: Adding a stirring blade below the main impeller can stir the sludge at the bottom of the water into a turbulent state and then pump it out. It is mainly used for "sludge pit cleaning, sludge pit pumping, riverbed sand removal" - without the stirring blade, the sludge at the bottom of the water cannot be reached by the main impeller and cannot be pumped up.
Q: What to do if the medium is corrosive?
A: Select SPR/LPR type (rubber lining) for non-edge corrosion-resistant slurry (such as chemical waste liquid, slurry); or use all stainless steel 304/316/316L materials. The metal type SP is only suitable for abrasive slurry, for strong corrosion, lining or material replacement is required.
