Hinged-blade Cutting Sewage Pump

The hinged cutter type sewage pump features a coaxial dual-stage design or an external cutter arm with a heavy-duty cutting edge. It has a denser number of cutting edges, a more aggressive edge shape, and greater torque, specifically designed to handle mixed dirty water containing "fibers, soft plastics, shredded cloth, and mild bone/shell/angle debris"

Heavy-duty cutter chamber: 3-6 rotor blade arms (cutter type) or disc-shaped dense blades (chopper type), fixed blade ring assembly, with a gap of a few millimeters that can be adjusted; material is Cr26/Cr27/hard alloy overlay. The cutter chamber can be disassembled independently (without removing the main impeller to change the blades) - this is the most valuable design in the slaughterhouse, as the blades need to be inspected every 2-4 weeks.
Main impeller: single flow channel/double flow channel/rotary flow, high chromium Cr26, only for discharge and not cutting, less wear than pure WQ.
Motor and seal: dry sealed F/IP68, oil chamber + double SiC/WC mechanical seal + oil-water probe; the mechanical seal load of the cutter version is slightly higher than that of the ordinary WQ (due to cutter vibration + solid content slightly higher), the oil chamber volume is usually one size larger than the WQ of the same power.
Shaft and bearings: shaft 40Cr quenched and tempered, bearings SKF/NSK heavy-duty, the radial impact of the cutter section is large, the bearing life should be calculated based on "continuous + pulse load".
Imported grating/basket: a coarse grating (⌀20–25 mm) must be installed before the cutter to catch hard objects - bottle caps, metal, large bones, stones entering the cutter chamber = blade breakage/axis jamming, this is the most common problem in the after-sales service of the cutter pump.

Slaughterhouse / Meat Processing: Pre-slaughter shower, post-slaughter cleaning, blood, feathers, hair, scraps of skin, bone debris - the shredder version is standard in slaughterhouse collection pits. Ordinary cutting-style shearing of feathers is fine, but cutting of skin + bone debris is challenging.
Livestock Farms (Pigs/Sheep/Poultry): Poultry feathers, horsehair, bedding debris, fecal clumps + feed residue - the collection pit for livestock farms / before solid-liquid separation, the shredder can handle feathers + hair like "fibers with extremely strong resistance".
Ship holds / Yacht docks / Fishing ports: Bottom water containing oil clumps + fibers + plastic films + food residues + slight sand, the shredder version is significantly more stable than the ordinary WQ. Maritime certification models can also comply with CCS/EC.
Small Food Processing: Fruit and vegetable processing (fruit peels, vegetable leaves), aquatic product processing (scales / internal organs debris), central kitchen pre-treatment - the shredder handles mixed materials like fruit peels + bone scraps + plastic films.
