Core flow component

Impeller: The "heart" of the pump, the core component that transfers mechanical energy to the slurry and performs work. It is classified by structure as closed type, open type, and semi-open type; by material, there are mainly high-chromium alloys (such as Cr26, Cr28, with hardness HRC 58-65) and wear-resistant rubber/polyurethane.
Cover: Collects the slurry coming out from the impeller and converts its kinetic energy into pressure energy. In the double pump housing structure, it serves as an inner liner and can be replaced independently.
Front guard plate and rear guard plate: Located at the inlet and back of the impeller respectively, they form a flow channel with the impeller and protect the pump body. The gap between them directly affects the efficiency of the pump.
Sealing ring/face ring: Installed on the pump housing or cover, it forms a small gap seal with the impeller to reduce internal leakage. After wear, it will lead to a decrease in efficiency.

Sealing components

Packing seal
Packing (gasket), packing cover, water seal ring, shaft sleeve
Simple structure, low cost. Requires continuous injection of shaft seal water, with slight leakage. Suitable for general neutral slurry working conditions.
Secondary impeller seal
Secondary impeller, pressure reducing cover, shaft sleeve
Sealed by centrifugal force, no need for shaft seal water, does not dilute the slurry. Suitable for working conditions with low inlet pressure.
Mechanical seal
Moving ring, static ring, spring, O-ring
Good sealing effect, almost no leakage, but high cost and high installation accuracy requirements. Suitable for strong corrosive, toxic or environmentally friendly media.

Bearings and transmission components

Bearings assembly: Typically, heavy-duty double-row tapered roller bearings are used to bear the radial and axial loads of the pump. They operate in heavy-load and vibration environments and are considered as critical supporting wear parts. Transmission components: These include couplings (direct drive), pulleys and belts (belt drive), and reducers, which transfer the motor power to the pump.

Other components

Pump body and pump cover: In the double pump housing type, the outer housing (usually made of cast iron or steel) mainly serves to provide structural support and protection for the inner liner, and is not considered a wear part itself.
Sleeve (suspension): Connects the pump body and the base, supporting the bearing assembly.
Base: Used to fix the pump and the motor. General standard parts: including various bolts, nuts, washers, oil seals, oil nozzles, oil gauges, etc.
