In industrial turbomachinery (slurry pumps, dredging pumps, agitators, cyclones), the blades are the core working components that directly "consume wear". When the medium contains sharp particles such as quartz sand, slag, and tailings, the average monthly wear of ordinary cast iron blades can reach 2–3 mm. High-manganese steel blades, under weak impact conditions, have insufficient work hardening effect and poor wear resistance. High-Chromium Alloy Turbine Blades are made of high-chromium white cast iron, which can effectively resist the cutting and erosion by solid particles. Combined with quenching + reheat treatment, the overall hardness is stable at HRC 58–64, balancing high wear resistance and impact toughness.
