The circular vibrating screen, abbreviated as circular vibration screen, is a general screening equipment that utilizes the centrifugal inertial force generated by the rotating eccentric mass block (exciter) to drive the screen box to perform approximately circular trajectory vibration. Its vibration trajectory is smooth and continuous, and the materials move in a throwing motion on the screen surface. It can efficiently complete various operations such as screening, classification, dehydration, and dewatering. As one of the most basic and widely used screening machinery in industries like mining, building materials, and metallurgy, the circular vibrating screen, with its simple structure, reliable operation, large processing capacity, and high screening efficiency, has become the core equipment for separating the particle size of solid materials.
Working principle
The core power source of the equipment is a vibration motor or an exciter driven by a motor (commonly of the eccentric shaft or block type). When the exciter rotates at high speed, the eccentric mass generates periodic centrifugal force, which is transmitted to the entire sieve box, causing it to undergo forced vibration on the supporting springs. The trajectory of this vibration, when projected in the vertical plane, becomes a circle or an approximately elliptical shape. After the material falls from the feed port onto the sieve surface, it moves forward through continuous circular throwing, rolling, and jumping. Particles smaller than the sieve hole size have the opportunity to pass through the sieve with each contact with the sieve surface, becoming the undersize material; particles larger than the sieve hole move along the inclined direction of the sieve surface and eventually exit through the discharge port, thus achieving the separation of materials according to their particle size.
