Explosion-proof submersible sewage pumps (common models such as WQB, BQW, QWB, BQS series) are special sewage equipment developed based on standard submersible sewage pumps, equipped with explosion-proof motors of explosion-proof type or enhanced safety type, and adopting special explosion-proof structural designs. Their core design concept is "safe explosion prevention and efficient sewage discharge", aiming to address the safety risks that may occur when ordinary submersible sewage pumps are used in hazardous environments where there are explosive mixtures of gases or dust such as methane, coal dust, petroleum gas, and chemical gases, due to the potential ignition of electric sparks.

Products Features

 

Intrinsic safety explosion-proof design: The core features are its explosion-proof motor and explosion-proof structure. Key components such as the motor and junction box are enclosed in explosion-proof housings. Even if an electric spark or explosion occurs inside, the explosion flame and high-temperature gas can be contained within the housing, and the special joint surface is used for cooling and pressure relief, preventing ignition of the external explosive environment, meeting national explosion-proof standards (such as Ex d I/II).
Outstanding unobstructed sewage discharge capacity: Adopting single or double flow channel impeller design, the flow channels are wide, capable of effectively passing through about 50% of solid particles and long fibers in the pump's diameter. It has strong anti-clogging ability and is suitable for conveying sewage containing solid impurities.
Multiple seals and all-round protection: Using double-end face mechanical seals, the sealing surfaces are made of hard and corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide or titanium tungsten materials and operate in an oil chamber. The service life is long (up to over 8,000 hours). The oil chamber is equipped with a high-precision water leakage sensor, the motor stator is pre-installed with a thermosensitive element, and combined with a fully automatic safety protection control cabinet, it can monitor and protect for all aspects of water leakage, electric leakage, overload, and overheating.
Compact structure and convenient installation: The pump and motor are integrated. The structure is compact and the volume is small. Two guide rail automatic coupling installation and mobile free installation methods are provided. During installation and maintenance, personnel do not need to enter the sewage pit, which is safe and convenient. Moreover, there is no need to build a ground pump room, saving construction costs.

Explosion-proof submersible pumps are specially designed for sewage discharge requirements in environments with explosive hazards. They are mainly applied in the following fields:
Mining and energy industries: Drainage and emergency rescue in mining excavation work areas, tunnels, and bottom water pits in coal mines, as well as treatment of water containing methane and coal dust. Oil, chemical, and natural gas plants and other factory areas' oily wastewater, rainwater discharge, and emergency drainage in case of accidents.
High-risk industrial sectors: Waste water discharge from production workshops and warehouses in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, paint, and coating that contain flammable and explosive gases or vapors. Sewage cleaning in areas with dust explosion risks in steel mills, power plants, cement plants, and coal processing plants.
Municipal and special public facilities: Rainwater and sewage discharge from flammable and explosive places such as gas stations, oil depots, and liquefied gas stations. . The inlet pump room of the urban sewage treatment plant (when there may be accumulation of methane gas)
