Description

The Dredge Pump Impeller (the rotating component of the dredge pump) is the core rotating component of the dredge pump. The dredge pump itself is a single-stage single-suction cantilever horizontal centrifugal pump, specifically designed for river dredging, waterway maintenance, land reclamation by filling, sand extraction and other scenarios, for transporting mixtures of sand, silt, gravel and other materials. Due to the high solid content (up to 40% volume concentration) of the dredging medium, sharp edges and corners (such as quartz sand, shells, crushed stones), fast flow rate and high impact load, the wear resistance requirement for the impeller is 3-5 times that of ordinary slurry pumps. Therefore, the dredge pump impeller must adopt an exclusive design featuring high-chrome iron + double-curved blades + closed structure.

This product is precisely cast using 27% high-chromium white iron (A05/KmTBCr26), with a chromium content of 23-30% and a hardness of HRC 56-63. It is manufactured through multiple processes including aluminum mold casting, overall quenching, precision machining, and dynamic balance correction. The blades are designed with double curved vanes - this is a standard configuration for international top dredge pump manufacturers such as DredgeYard. Options for 3 or 5 blades are available. They are specifically optimized for slurry transportation to enhance water efficiency while reducing energy consumption and operating costs.

A: In river sand conditions with a sand content of ≤ 30%, the Cr28 high-chromium alloy impeller has an average lifespan of ≥ 8,000 hours (about 11 months of continuous use); the guard plate and bushing have a lifespan of ≥ 6,000 hours. If the medium is granite debris, basalt, etc., with extremely strong erosion conditions, it is recommended to upgrade to A07 material, which can extend the lifespan by 30-50%.
Q: Can the WN series and ZN series impellers be interchanged?
A: No. The hydraulic models, installation dimensions, and shaft systems of the WN series (200WN-700WN) and ZN series (ZN250-ZN1000) are completely different.
