The submersible type is the most common, featuring a compact design where the motor and the water pump are integrated coaxially. It can directly work underwater. The core lies in the special impeller structure (such as double channels, single/double blades, spiral centrifugal type) and large channel design, which can allow solid particles with diameters exceeding 50% or even 100mm of the pump diameter to pass through. Some models also integrate bottom stirring impellers or cutting devices, which can stir up and shred the deposited sludge and long-fiber debris, achieving simultaneous "pumping and dredging". The hydraulic drive type utilizes the hydraulic system of equipment such as excavators to provide power, and is particularly suitable for remote areas without power supply or for mobile operations.
