The SH type double-suction split-case centrifugal pump is a single-stage, double-suction, horizontally split-case centrifugal pump. This pump adopts a horizontally split structure. The pump body is divided vertically along the axis, and the impeller is of double-suction type (the liquid enters the impeller from both sides simultaneously), with the axial force basically cancelled out, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. The SH type is in the same single-stage double-suction split-case pump family as the S type. However, the SH series focuses more on medium to large diameters and medium to high head conditions. It has accumulated half a century of mature application experience in large irrigation pumping stations, power plant circulating water, urban water supply, and other fields.

Double suction impeller, self-balancing axial force: The liquid is sucked in from both sides of the impeller simultaneously, and the axial thrust is almost completely counteracted. The pump shaft is evenly stressed, the bearing life is long, and the vibration and noise during operation are significantly lower than those of single-suction pumps with the same parameters. It is suitable for 24-hour continuous operation.
Horizontal mid-span structure, no need to dismantle the pipeline for maintenance: The pump body is horizontally divided along the axis line. By opening the pump cover, the rotor component (impeller + shaft + bearing) can be removed. The inlet and outlet pipelines and the motor remain in place, reducing the downtime for maintenance by more than 60%. It is extremely friendly for scenarios such as water plants and power plants where water supply cannot be interrupted.
High flow rate, high head, high efficiency per stage: The single-stage head can reach 140 meters, and the flow rate can reach 12,000 m³/h. The hydraulic model is optimized using advanced CFD, with the highest efficiency reaching 88% to 92%. The efficient range is wide, and high efficiency is maintained under variable operating conditions. The long-term operation cost advantage is significant.
Customizable in various materials and seals: When transporting seawater, sandy water, hot water, or weakly corrosive media, stainless steel impellers, duplex steel pump bodies, mechanical seals + API flushing solutions can be selected to meet industry standards in petrochemicals, power, and seawater desalination.

Application scenario
Large-scale farmland irrigation pumping stations: Water is extracted from rivers and reservoirs and transported through main canals to dozens of thousands of acres of irrigation areas. The SH type double-suction pump has a single-stage head of 20 to 80 meters and a flow rate of 2,000 to 8,000 cubic meters per hour. It is the main selection for pump stations in irrigation areas of over 10,000 acres.
Mine drainage and underground water supply: Water drainage from open-pit mines, water discharge from mines, and underground production water supply. The SH type can replace multi-stage centrifugal pumps in a single stage, reducing the space occupied by the pump room and the maintenance workload.
